1. Who we are
Olympia Roofers ("we", "us") is a roofing contractor based at 3945 Martin Way E, Olympia, WA 98506. We provide roof replacement, roof repair, new roof installation, roof inspections, metal roofing, moss removal, commercial roofing and siding for homes and businesses in Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater and nearby Thurston County. This policy covers roofersolympiawa.com and any request you send us through it, by phone or by text.
2. Information we collect
- Estimate and booking requests: your name, phone number, home or property address, ZIP code, email (optional), the roofing service you need, how soon you need it, whether the property is a home or business, and anything you tell us about your roof.
- Job information: details we gather during an estimate or job, such as roof measurements, material choices, quotes, invoices, permit details and photos of your roof, attic, gutters or siding.
- Technical information: the page you submitted a form from, campaign tags (for example UTM codes or ad click IDs), your IP address, browser type and basic usage data.
We do not ask for payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive financial information through this website.
3. How we use your information
- To contact you about your request and schedule a free roof estimate or inspection.
- To measure your roof, prepare a written quote and complete the work you approve.
- To apply for permits with the City of Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater or Thurston County when your project requires one.
- To order materials, schedule crews and send appointment reminders.
- To handle warranty questions and follow-up service on work we performed.
- To see which pages and advertising bring in requests, so we can improve the website.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to your roofing project.
4. When we share it
We share only what is needed, only with:
- The roofing contractor and crew who perform your work, including any licensed subcontractor we use for specialty items such as gutters or skylights.
- Material suppliers and manufacturers, for example to order materials or register a shingle or metal-roof warranty in your name.
- Permit offices and inspectors, when a permit is required for your job.
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as phone, email, scheduling and website hosting providers, under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, if required by law.
5. Calls, texts and email
When you send a request, we will call, text or email you about that request only. Calls to our business line may be recorded for quality and training. Message and data rates may apply to texts. Reply STOP to any text or tell us at any time if you prefer a different way to be contacted. We do not send marketing texts without your separate consent.
6. Roof photos and site visits
During estimates and jobs we photograph your roof, attic and exterior to document conditions and completed work. These photos stay in your job file. We will only use photos of your property on our website or social media with your permission, and never with your street address or anything that identifies you.
7. Cookies and analytics
The website uses a small amount of browser storage to remember how you arrived (for example from an ad), and may use analytics tools to measure visits. Embedded Google Maps and web fonts are loaded from third parties, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
8. How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests for up to 24 months so we can follow up and answer questions. For completed jobs, we keep job records, photos and invoices for as long as your workmanship warranty lasts and as required for tax and contractor records. We use reasonable safeguards to protect this information.
9. Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep certain records that the law requires, such as invoices.
